Park in the lot on the left and follow the signs to enjoy the scenery.
Moss Glen Falls
Moss Glen Falls is a local hotspot that is sure to provide some of your favorite times in Stowe. Come here to find a gorgeous cascading waterfall nestled in a medieval-looking forest. During the summer, it provides the perfect opportunity to frolic and cool off in the clear water. During the winter, it is one of the most peaceful spots to spend an afternoon. There are actually two different waterfalls named Moss Glen Falls in Vermont, and this one can be found just a few miles from Stowe off of Route 100 between Stowe and Morristown. You can reach the falls with only a half mile level walk in on Moss Glen Falls Trail. Take Route 100 North and turn right onto Randolph Road, then turn right onto Moss Glen Falls Road. The trailhead is located on the left-hand side of Moss Glen Falls Road at the edge of a small parking area. Moss Glen Falls is definitely one of the best off the beaten path spots in Stowe!
Lake of the Clouds, Mount Mansfield
As the highest peak in Vermont at 4,393 feet, Mount Mansfield is no secret to anyone who sees Stowe’s horizon.
