Easter 2020 in Stowe

If you are looking for an exciting destination for your Easter getaway, make sure you take a look at Stowe! This beautiful town in Vermont is the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend away. The end of winter and early spring is often a slower time in Stowe, allowing you to enjoy all the various activities found in the area. Here are some great ways to spend Easter 2020 in Stowe this year:

Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt at Spruce Peak

One of the premier resorts in town that gives you access to the ski trails is Spruce Peak. Each year, Spruce Peak offers an incredible Easter Brunch inside Solstice Restaurant, their onsite dining option. This special brunch event is only available on Easter morning and includes all your brunch favorites such as quiche, pancakes, eggs, omelets, carved ham, and more. Adults will be able to order up their favorite adult beverages like a mimosa and a Bloody Mary or two. Easter brunch is available for $32 per adult and $16 for children age 12 and under. That same morning, children can participate in the annual egg hunt that takes place at Spruce Peak’s Village Green. They will have a great time hunting for colorful eggs!

Easter Service with Stowe Community Church

If your family goes to church for the Easter holiday, you are in luck, as local Stowe Community Church puts on a service every year. This non-denominational church is the perfect place for all faiths to come together and celebrate the Easter holiday. What makes this service so special compared to others in town is that it takes place on top of Mt. Mansfield; you read that right, your service will be on a mountaintop! Complimentary gondola rides will take you to the top for free starting at 4:30 AM. This is a great way to see the top of Mt. Mansfield as well as celebrate your faith.

Enjoy the Area

Of course, Stowe offers plenty of great activities to enjoy at the beginning of the spring season. Ski season is almost over, but you can still enjoy a few more days on the mountain when you visit for Easter! The official end of the 2020 season is April 19th, giving fans of winter sports one final week to show off their skills on the mountain. If you’re an avid skier, you can even put the purchase of a single-day lift ticket toward a 2020/21 season pass at Stowe Mountain Resort. After all, we’re sure you’ll want to come back for more next winter!
