If I book online, is my rental guaranteed?

It does not cover any costs due to intentional acts, gross negligence or willful conduct by you or your traveling companions. Any additional cleaning or maintenance expense incurred due to smoking in the residence, unapproved pets in the residence, key locked in residence, furniture rearranged but not returned to original position, windows left open, not honoring check-out time, or any damage caused by gross negligence or willful conduct by you or your travel companions will be charged immediately to your credit card. If we do not have a card on file, payment to STOWE COUNTRY HOMES for the full amount is due within thirty days of receipt. The Security Deposit Protection is included with all Stowe Country Homes reservations, unless specifically waived by the owner of the property. If you do not purchase the Security Deposit Protection, you are liable for damages, accidental or intentional, to the limit of the security deposit, which is typically equal to one night stay. Any additional cleaning or maintenance expense due to smoking in the residence, unapproved pets in the residence, key locked in residence, furniture rearranged but not returned to original position, windows left open, not honoring check-out time or any damage caused by gross negligence or will full conduct by your or your travel companions will be charged immediately to your credit card. If any guest smokes in residence during their stay, the entire amount of security deposit will be charged immediately.

How do I check-in?
Check-in time is 4:00* pm and check out time is 10:00 am. Please note that we are unable to provide the keys prior to 4:00 pm (unless you have received confirmation that you have been granted an early check-in).

How do I pick up the keys for my rental?

Whether or not you submit a request to check-in early, our standard process is to text the reservation holder if the rental is ready prior to our regular check-in time of 4:00 pm on the day of the arrival. Please note that we are unable to provide the keys prior to 4:00 pm (unless you have received confirmation that you have been granted an early check-in). Thank you for understanding.

Rates are quoted for the standard occupancy of our properties. Additional guests (not to exceed the maximum allowed) may be subject to a per person, per day charge.

Please enjoy our new, locally sourced toiletries from Elmore Mountain Soap and Ursa Major while you are in residence! many area stores have a variety of these products available for purchase. Should you decide to take the dispensers from our properties with you upon departure, a $25.00 per item charge will be added to your reservation.
What cable and internet package does the home have? Will we be able to watch the game? What is internet TV?
Can I receive mail at my rental?
For long term rentals, it is highly circumstantial. Guests MIGHT be able to receive mail at the rental address IF mail delivery is already provided by the USPS. Please contact our office to inquire about further details if you have a long term reservation.
Please note that many of our rental homes do not have the option of mail delivery as Vermont is a very rural state. Many addresses with mail delivery have locking mailboxes for owner use only. Neither the Stowe Country Homes office nor the local HOA's have keys to owner mailboxes.
If you must receive mail while you are visiting us, please use our office address: 541 South Main Street, Stowe, VT 05672. Please be sure to include the name of the reservation holder so we know to whom the mail belongs. Our staff will contact you when your mail is available for pickup at the Stowe Country Homes office. We are unable to deliver mail and packages to your rental. Please note that our staff is not responsible for lost, undeliverable, or missing mail regardless of where it is sent.
