Community Support

Since inception, a clear cornerstone of Stowe Country Homes has been to support our local community and the lands that support us. We are guided by the belief that we can design a better future through community involvement, both as a company and as good citizens. We are proud to participate in community activities and regional conferences, actively sit on the Stowe Area Association board to enroll our business community in conversations on growth and sustainability in Stowe to ensure best practices, and we continue to grow our effort to utilize environmentally friendly products in our office and rental homes. Furthermore, we fiscally support several local events and organizations through scholarships and donations. We invite you to learn more or become involved.

Stowe Land Trust

Stowe Country Homes has partnered with Stowe Land Trust to support local conservation projects that protect the land and waters that make this place special. We thank you for joining us in caring for these spectacular places—a donation of $1 per rental night is added to your reservation to help protect the Stowe area’s forests, farms, habitats, and trails.

Stowe Performing Arts

Stowe Performing Arts is a non-profit community organization with a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to bringing high quality performances and opportunities for cultural enrichment through the performing arts to the community and surrounding areas. Stowe Trails Partnership

Partnering with the community, STP builds, maintains, and promotes access to a diverse trail network that brings joy to all users. Through partnerships with landowners and organizations, STP works to create a sustainable and fun experience for all outdoor enthusiasts. Favorites spots of ours include Cady Hill and Sterling Forest.

The Current

The Current’s mission is to enhance the human experience through the visual arts: year-round visual art exhibitions in galleries, and an annual outdoor sculpture show, Exposed, throughout the town; public programs such as lectures, panels, and film screenings; and progressive and innovative arts education programs for all ages.

Green Mountain Club

Established in 1910, the mission of the Green Mountain Club is to make the Vermont mountains play a larger part in the life of the people by protecting and maintaining the Long Trail System and fostering, through education, the stewardship of Vermont’s hiking trails and mountains. They have a visit-worthy homebase on Route 100.

Stowe Theatre Guild

Stowe Theatre Guild is a 501(c)3, non-profit, volunteer-run community theatre organization whose mission is to produce the highest quality theatre in central Vermont. Performing in the historic Town Hall Theatre in the heart of Stowe, Vermont, they produce four shows — both musicals and straight plays per season (June-Oct).

Clarina Howard Nichols Center

Founded in 1981, the Clarina Howard Nichols Center works to end domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County. Clarina provides advocacy programs, emergency shelter, support and direct services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence as well as community outreach programs to affect social change.
