This August, classic car enthusiasts from across New England will converge for the 61st annual Vermont Antique and Classic Car Meet (Aug. 13-15). In a new location at Farr Field in Waterbury, VT, this year’s festival promises to be bigger, badder, and better than ever. Visitors can explore the categories of classic cars on full display, look for hidden treasures in the expanded flea market and car corral, and take in the spectacle of the Classic Auto Parade. There is also the festive and always popular street dance, plus the presentations of the weekend’s award winners. If you love classic cars, outdoor festivals, or small town charm, you won’t want to miss it!

The Lineup

The festival kicks off on Friday, August 13 at 8am with the opening of the iconic flea market. Here you can hunt for oddities and eclectic items, ranging from small collectibles to old cars. Saturday is highlighted by the vintage fashion show at 10:30am and the classic car show and parade through Waterbury at 3:30pm. Dance the evening away on the small town streets from 7-10 pm, and enjoy the local craft beers and delicious Vermont delicacies. Sunday the grounds are open all day as judges and fans alike patrol the beautiful automobiles and decide the winners in the numerous classes.
