Spacious Places to Stay in Stowe

Spacious, bright, and airy with upscale furnishings, our 3-bedroom places to stay in Stowe will take your family vacation to the next level. And the views! When you’re not out on the slopes or hiking the mountain trails, enjoy the lovely mountain view (and stay warm) through large windows or from your private deck. Our 3-bedroom vacation rentals are located throughout the area, and you can choose from condos minutes from ski lifts, townhomes nestled among the trees in communities perched on mountain sides, picturesque cottages or large lakefront homes and more.

Your group can enjoy all the usual amenities (like fully equipped kitchens, comfy chairs and sofas, and free cable and Wi-Fi), plus a few more upscale features like warm wood floors, stone fireplaces, high thread count linens, washer/dryers, and game rooms.

Of course, you can take advantage of our pre-arrival grocery service, prepared or catered meals, a personal chef, and housekeeping services. Why waste time cleaning or chopping veggies when you could be out on the slopes or gazing at beautiful waterfalls? And if you find that you left your helmet or snow pants back home, we can help with the rental of replacement gear and equipment. Make it easy on yourself and just leave all that heavy, bulky gear back home, and just rent what you need while you’re here.

Many of our 3-bedroom flats are in communities that feature elevators (a good thing when lugging all that skiing equipment), covered parking, and outdoor fireplaces. Community amenities you can enjoy also include swimming pools, tennis courts, and hot tubs.

Picturesque Stowe Activities

Bike, hike, rollerblade, or ski along the bucolic Stowe Recreational Path as it wanders through historic Stowe Village, through fields and past streams to end at a lovely covered bridge. While this almost 5-1/2 mile (mostly flat) greenway path is perfect for a leisurely walk during warmer months, it’s groomed for Nordic skiers in winter, and it’s a lovely cross-country trek for snowshoeing when it’s covered in snow.

When you’re ready for the slopes and mountain trails, head to nearby Stowe Mountain Resort or Spruce Park for a bit of hiking, biking, or skiing. Or head to Mt. Mansfield, the area’s main ski mountain in Underhill State Park, for skiing and hiking trails and the Adventure Center with its exciting zipline and more. The views as you ride the Gondola Skyride to the peak are amazing! If you could only do one thing while you’re here in Stowe, it should be the Gondola Skyride!

Moss Glen Falls is just one of the many cascading waterfalls you can enjoy as you hike along riverside trails. Other great trails include the Sunset Rock Trails (a quick hike with amazing sunset views) and Stowe Pinnacle Trail (shady but steep, it’s a 3-mile out-and-back).

Don’t Miss These Stowe Activities

Take a tour of one of our local breweries—Von Trapp Brewing with its Bierhall and Boyden Valley Winery & Spirits are great choices. And the entire family will love a guided tour of Ben & Jerry’s, especially the sample room at the end of the tour!

While you’re in town, do some shopping! This is the time to pick up some Vermont goodies like local farm-fresh cheese, cool cider, and gooey maple syrup. Be sure to grab lots of extras for gifts – a bottle of Vermont Maple Syrup makes a great teacher’s gift.

You can also treat yourself and your guests with a visit to the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, The Spa at Spruce Peak, Stowe Village Massage and enjoy a deep tissue or hot stone massage to ease your stress levels and those aching muscles. Try something new along with your soothing massage and book a session with one of the area spas that take advantage of man-made salt caves. The Vermont Salt Cave Spa & Halotherapy Center, Purple Sage Salon & Spa and the Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center are just a few to choose from.

Enjoy a live performance at The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center or the historic Hyde Park Opera House (just 15 minutes from Stowe). If you’re really into winter sports, spend the afternoon at the cute Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum. The West Branch Gallery and Sculpture Garden feature contemporary art inside and modern sculpture outside. The garden is a lovely way to slow things down after a hard morning on the slopes.
