This charming four bedroom cape at the end of a quiet Stowe Hollow road has sweeping views of Mt. Mansfield and the surrounding mountains. Light and bright, the inviting living room features wide pine floors, comfortable seating, a large screen TV, and a fireplace. A family room on the lower level has a stove and large screen TV. The home has a gorgeous new cherry wood and granite country kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The large kitchen, now with a breakfast island, opens to the dining room which seats six to eight. Central air conditioning was installed in 2018. The queen primary bedroom features a newly renovated private bathroom. Imagine waking up to this frosty view of Mt. Mansfield. The home also now has cable TV reception and high speed wireless internet.

This is a lovely home located on a quiet street with access to trails and close to town. We have rented this house several years in a row when up in Stowe on Vacation. It is comfortable, well equipped, and recently received an upgrade with regard to new furnishings and infrastructure. Also, Stowe Country Homes is an incredible property manager and very responsive should any issues arise. We have rented properties through Stowe Country Homes for many years and their service is impecable. We plan to return to Stowe, as we do annually, and hope to rent Ayers Farm Cottage again.

We are happy that you enjoyed Ayers Farm Cottage and its new improvements! We look forward to having you back in Stowe at the Cottage again next summer.

This is our third stay at Ayers Farm Cottage. The proprerty is spacious, well appointed, and in a lovely quiet setting near the end of a cul de sac. It is spacious and comfortable and adjacent to a trail system for hiking that is behind the house. Stowe Country Homes, who we have been dealing with for rentals in the Stowe area for over 20 years, is a wonderful rental agent and is extrmeely client oriented. We would highly recommend the property and rental agent.

Great house for a week away. The location is perfect- close to everywhere you would want to go and the house is great if you are looking to just relax and stay in. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, grill outside, nice front porch. Great supply of linens and towels and exactly as advertised. Check in and check out is very easy and Dog friendly was a plus (even supplied a biscuit as a welcome treat!). Would absolutely book this house again.

We had an excellent stay at Ayers Farm Cottage. The house is very well laid out: a great open kitchen/dining and living room with TV and fireplace on the first floor. Downstairs is a finished basement with more hangout space. 3 bedrooms, with 1 master upstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped for a rental house with all the basics you'd need. A very good house that we'd definitely rent again!

Beautiful home with spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding woods; well appointed with all the amenities; very clean; love the wood burning fireplace and the sky lights in the bedrooms. Close to Stowe Mountain resort, the town and local restaurants; as well as other surrounding ski resorts.

This was another great SCH experience for us. (Our 1oth?). It was a very hot week, and so the bedrooms, which are essentially in the attic, became greenhouses. This was completely ameliorated by the AC except in the master BR where its was operating only as a fan. We called for repair, but there was no change in functionality. It would be a huge help, both in terms of temperature and light (for sleeping) if there were louvres or another covering for the 3 huge skylight windows. I'm sure this is great in the winter, but it made sleeping a bit of a challenge in the longer days of summer. Kitchen was about 95% in terms of functionality. Could use: a cheese planer and a cheese grater, and a better way to organize sharp knives. originally thought location was sub optimal. I was totally wrong. Access to Moscow Road enabled us to skirt village traffic. only shortcoming was the absence of rec path or hiking trails. A pond would be a great idea but I understand the economics. Ground floor layout is exceptional, especially the new kitchen.

Spring Weekend at Ayers Farm

We rented Ayers Farm for a weekend in mid May to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. 6 adults and three children fit very comfortably and we found the accomodations to be nicely updated and enjoying family meals. There is a nice view of the sunset this time of year from up on the deck. The short drive to all Stowe has to offer made this a great mix of both price, proximity, and comfort. Would highly recommend this property and Stowe Country homes staff was extremely helpful and responsive.

The house was perfect for my extended family get-together in beautiful Stowe. It was clean and updated. The mud room is great for the wintertime messes of boots and coats. If I had any negatives of the place would be that the road and driveway could be tough to navigate in bad weather and I assume in the wet weather might be a muddy mess. Also, check-out is quite early.

We rented this house for 4 months from June through October in 2013. My wife and I had just retired. We have stayed here for much shorter periods as vacations, so we were familiar with the house. It is very peaceful and quiet with a wonderful view to the west from the front porch. It is a mile up a steep dirt road, so less desirable in the in winter months. The house is not fancy, but neat and clean with lots of room with 4 bedrooms for visitors. There is nothing finer than sitting with a cup of coffee in front of the fireplace. The owner always leaves plenty of wood. The kitchen is simple, but it has everything you need. Using the dehumidifier does truly help to keep the basement level dry and comfortable. This is a great place to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer. The owner is genuinely helpful and eager to make your stay a good one.

We had a great time between a total of 7 people. Great views comfortable beds and nice climate. The views from the patio are great. Its a great roomy place for bunch of couples or young families to meeting for a getaway.

10 of us and our dog were very comfortable in this house for the weekend. It was very clean and nicely furnished, and the kitchen is lovely with a nice open dining area. The deck is spacious and has a great view. The only thing we'd recommend is a later checkout time.

Great family country and ski home

What a wonderful home. It is exactly what we wanted in a country rental in Stowe, with a brand new kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and great views of the mountains. It is in Stowe Hollow, with a direct view overlooking the ski mountain, without all the endemic traffic on The mountain road. One can pop right into Stowe itself in just a few minutes from the house, yet be at the top of the mountain in less than ten minutes cutting around the back way and avoiding much of the traffic on the mountain road itself. I highly recommend this home to any family.
