Vermont might be famous for its maple syrup, but it is legendary for its incredible tapestry of brilliant colors blazing across the autumn horizon. When the trees begin to turn colors, there is nowhere we would rather be than the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival, a celebration of autumn, classic Vermont, and everything New England.
All Fall Festival
Taking place in the height of the fall foliage season, the festival is held at the Topnotch Fields in Stowe, VT, on October 8. These three days will feature over 150 local vendors highlighting the best of local crafts, food, and art, plus live music, demonstrations, and traditional craftwork. Visitors will be able to sample local favorites like maple syrup, gourmet chocolates, and plenty of locally brewed beer. Admission is $10 per day or $12 for the entire weekend (kids are always free). Food vendors will be onsite selling delicious dishes from hamburgers to falafel, with plenty of sweet treats like crepes and ice cream as well (for an additional adult treat, check out the wine and beer tent).
Cool Nights, Hot Music
The festival is proud to welcome a variety of popular entertainers, with a different musical guest every night: The Spencer Lewis Duo’s folk grooves on Friday, the eclectic bluegrass of Two Cents in the Till on Saturday, and a reinvention of old-school jazz with Storm Cats Jazz on Sunday night. Throughout the days, kids and adults alike will love the comedic stylings of Brent McCoy and his unique blend of stunts and circus tricks.
