One of the trails follows the waterfalls on the property—this house is pet friendly and we bet your pup will love the trail! A great sledding hill, screened in gazebo, outdoor infrared grill, and hot tub add to the enjoyment to be had at the house.
Inside is just as much fun. Just off the well-appointed kitchen is a wood-paneled billiards room with a beautiful eight-foot Olhausen pool table. A large living area with gas fireplace invites you to kick back at the end of the day. In the warmer months, five different minisplit units that are conveniently located throughout the home help to keep things comfortable. The primary ensuite bedroom is on this main level. Four more bedrooms (including a bunk room for kids) are located on the upper level next to a large den with TV. Throughout, enjoy the picturesque mountain views out the windows! The large deck is ideal to relax and enjoy comfort and nature as they meet in Mountain Falls.

Hello, Our staying at Mauntain Falls was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well designed for multiple generations as our family was, including pets. The huge dining table accommodated a whole family and we enjoyed gathering with great food and conversations. The kitchen had all intems needed for family cooking and gathering around. Kids had fun with enourmous sofa in the living room.There was enough space for everyone and everybody's needs. We are considering to come back next year for another celebration of my husband life in circle of closest family. Thank you, we were impressed with the communications from the office, very clear instruction and access to the house. Thanks again.

Plenty of room for socializing, dining, sleeping, and playing together. Beautiful setting and wide, expansive views. Everything was clean and orderly, as described. We really enjoyed the billiard table, hot tub, and back deck for family fun. Kitchen space was somewhat limited for a large group, but we took advantage of the excellent BBQ set up for evening meals. Guest book instructions were complete and helpful. Thank you for an excellent stay!!!

We loved our stay at this home! It was so clean when we arrived. It was great how the bedrooms were spaced out and so many different bathrooms. The view of the mountains was incredible. The living room was inviting with having such a big couch for many to hangout on. The hot tub is a fabulous plus. Our one and ONLY complain is the Wifi. Though that may be out of the owners control with where the house is located. But it was very hard to get service, even with trying to switch to the 2 router options. Another booster or 2 could be beneficial for the house, if possible. But other than that, what a great stay!! I can't wait to return to Stowe another time.

The mountain falls house was a great escape for a Vermonter to get away in the state. The views were great, the house was clean and very spacious and there were plenty of amenities in the house. An added perk was the hot tub.

This is a wonderful location..peaceful, quiet, and adjacent or close to some beautiful trails. We have rented this property for vacation 3 years in a row and it is well equipped. My only criticism is that the Dining Room carpet is in great need of a cleaning. We will most likely rent again.

Comfortable house, amazing views. This was a lovely spot for a three week stay. The community pond and tennis courts, plus the trail network is a real selling point. The house itself is not fancy, but the setting is amazing.

We loved staying at Mountain Falls this year for our ski trip! This was our 5th annual ski trip and staying at this home made it extra special, from the beautiful views to the awesome gathering spaces, we loved every minute of it. The Stowe Country Homes Mountain Falls location was absolutely incredible. The house had an amazing view and backyard, while the inside of the house was stunning. The location of the house was perfect being driving distance to so many different activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing, breweries,etc. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely spacious and well equipped rental home in a beautiful quiet setting. It is absolutely a perfect place to be with family and is close to town and walking/hiking trails. This is the second time we have rented this property and we will definitely rent again. We have rented from Stowe Country Homes for years and they are wonderful to deal with and very customer focused.

The size and the location/views of this house are fantastic! Very private and peaceful. Nine of us stayed and there was plenty of space in the house to accommodate all! Plenty of bathrooms. Very comfortable with many amenities. High end appliances in the kitchen. Loved the hot tub at night under the stars with the cool summer breeze and had a lot of fun using the pool table. It is a lovely home but there are a few repairs that are needed. The deck needs attention, the starter on the grill was broken and several windows wouldn't open as the handles were broken. Having the option of using air conditioning was a plus. We had trouble with figuring out the instructions on how to use the tv so we just settled the with basic 6 channels the few times we used it. It was nice to have a reprieve from the tv though. We hope to stay here again in the future! Having a map of where the walking trails were and where they led to would be helpful.

The TV set up could better and an address sign at the bottom of the driveway would be nice. All in we liked the place. Not sure we would rent it again but it did fit our needs for this trip.

The home was abundantly large for our "four" families of parents and adult children. The home was sufficiently modern and provided a large entertainment room for gathering. The pond, tennis court and basketball hoop were nice. Private setting was a plus.

The vacation rental house was very good, the only reason for not selecting Excellent is that it was not as per the description provided in the website.
The website said it has 5 bathrooms with shower, but only 3 bathrooms had shower, which caused lot of inconvinence as we were 5 families and for this reason we had booked this.
Apart from this, everything was excellent.
Girls ski weekend

We loved the home and it was prefect for our girls weekend away. There was plenty of sleeping space and the living room was perfect for all of us to hang out, play games and socialize. The hot tub soothed us after skiing/snowboarding/snowshoeing that we did during the day. I would strongly recommend this house and looking forward to coming back there again.

Great home for our 17 guests to stay. Pool table and gas fireplace provided great entertainment areas when we weren't skiing. Driveway and the road to the house are best handled with AWD vehicles in the snow, but Ryan the plow guy was very responsive. Will definitely consider renting again.
Great place with funky common area layout

First off, this is an awesome place, super close to everything and has all that you need for a great time with friends and family in the Stowe area.
Second, make sure you have snow tires on if you visit in the winter. The driveway is steep enough that if you don't have them you probably won't make it up.
Third, and the only detractor, is that the kitchen/living room/billiards room/dinner room layout is a bit stifling. The kitchen is pretty small relative to the size of the house, and there's not enough counter space to comfortably and casually cook a meal big enough for the number of people able to stay. BUT, you still can cook in there, it'll just be cramped.
Oh, and bring your own kitchen knives. There's everything else there but the knives.
Hot tub was A+, even in -14 degrees and 30 mphs winds. :D
