Thoughtfully designed, this new construction home is light and bright, with windows galore framing the mountains and surrounding forest. The home offers three bedrooms with beds to sleep up to eight, two full bathrooms, two spacious living areas, a gas fireplace, and a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Each room is well-appointed and delivers a fresh approach to mountain living. The wrap-around deck, with gas grill and firepit below, invites you outside—you might even hear the hoot of a resident Barred Owl, the namesake of the home.
This sanctuary in the forest is conveniently located less than 4 miles to the slopes and five miles from Stowe Village—so close to all that the area has to offer. During the summer months, a stay includes access to a community pool and tennis courts. The Mill Trail, a gentle trail along the river to Bingham’s Falls, is just a minute down the road—it’s a local favorite for hiking and snowshoeing! Pets are welcome at Owl’s Nest, and we bet they’ll love all the outdoor exploration!

Owl's Next was perfect for our family of 6 (2 kids, 2 adults, 2 grandparents). The bedrooms are all very comfortable, bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was better-equipped than usual. Plenty of towels. It snowed each day during our January stay and SCH plowed each day. Beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Great, modern, clean house in the mountain road in Stowe. Really great location with great view and easy access to the mountain. House was awesome. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of towels. It stormed the day we arrived and the driveway and walk were plowed. Only observation is that the house could use some hook to hang ski gear! Otherwise a great house and would stay again. Owls Nest was nestled in the beautiful hills just far enough away from the crowds in Stowe to provide the feeling of a beautiful nature retreat! It was spotless, quiet, well-furnished, cozy and had a fabulous deck for enjoying the outdoors! Comfy, cozy home tucked away in woods with incredible view of slopes. Perfect for our family with 2 young boys who enjoyed the bunk room and downstairs TV area after skiing. Kitchen well supplied with cookware so we enjoyed lovely meals after busy days of skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating or swimming. So convenient to slopes and recreational areas for other snow sports.

I decided to do a longer term stay at Owl's Nest for 6 weeks and it was the best decision of my life! The house was the perfect size for me and my dog and had everything we needed. The modern design and beautiful views were the perfect backdrop for a morning cup of coffee. Becky and Rich, the owners of Owl's Nest were so welcoming and helpful during my stay. The house is tucked away on a quiet street with plenty of privacy without feeling completely isolated up near the mountain. My only regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back to Owl's Nest.

We enjoyed our time at Owl's nest. Since there is no key, it would be nice not to have to go to the Stowe Country Homes location at all. If we could just get the packet emailed and then also just email a survey at the end (or fill this out) then we could eliminate that whole process. Thank you!

We spent 2 months this summer at the Owl's Nest. The location is ideal being close to town and the ski slopes. Owl's Nest is a zen-like experience surround by trees and still being able to see Mt. Mansfield's peak from the house. The house is well maintained with comfortable beds and a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The wrap around deck is ideal for entertaining family or friends or yourselves. We loved the fireplace on cold mornings. Within a half mile, you can explore a hiking trail to a gorgeous waterfalls. The owners, who live next to the Owl's Nest, made sure that we were comfortable and happy; they maintained excellent boundaries too. If you are looking for a beautiful place to visit, try Stowe and consider staying at the Owl's Nest!

We had an amazing 10 day stay at the Owls Neat! There are so many thoughtful details- well equipped kitchen (waffles anyone?), comfy beds, so many towels, a gate on the deck, beautiful outdoor lighting, potted flowers, dry goods, first aid supplies, fire pit, outdoor dining space, games, and more! What a lovely place to stay. Close to so many adventures too! The added bonus is the delightful neighbors!

Modern, Lovely Home We had a fantastic stay at the Owls Nest. Well-appointed and well-designed, the house is modern, open and bright. We loved having a deck that wrapped around the house enabling us to enjoy mountain views from sunrise to sunset. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking and dining with a group. The den is spacious and the outside fire pit is a nice touch. Our family of four was very comfortable and we would love to stay again in this wonderful home. Conveniently located near skiing, hiking and dining.

We can't say enough about our stay at Owl's Nest. It is a beautiful and relaxing retreat with everything you need for a home away from home. We loved the decor and all the high end finishes. The location is close and convenient to everything, but very private with beautiful views and tons of natural light. We can't wait to go back and visit when we can enjoy the deck and outdoor spaces as well.

Arriving late we were delighted to find this he house pre-lit, pre-warmed, and so easy to get to. The bedding was warm, clean and cozy. Bring ground coffee and milk, they have a nice coffee maker with filters and sugar. The view of Mansfield the next morning captured our hearts and we adjourned there again for apres that afternoon. Everything is new, setup for guests, and clean. We’ll be back.

The Owl's nest is a lovely home with close proximity to the mountain and great views of Stowe. We absolutely loved our time there. The deck space is lovely, the home is newly renovated, the owners were very accommodating and beds were comfortable. Loved it and would like to rent it again in the future. We stayed at the Owl's Nest with friends for a long weekend at the height of leaf season in Vermont. This is a fantastic house, with high end amenities, extreme comfort and close proximity to both the ski resort and the town of Stowe. The house will comfortably accommodate six people, with one bedroom, living area and kitchen on the main level, and two bedrooms with a second living area downstairs. Walls of glass provide beautiful views of the surrounding woods. All the kitchen appliances are provided and are top quality. There is an indoor fireplace, and as an added bonus an outdoor fire pit. Expansive decks surround the house, making this truly an all season rental. Five stars.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in the Owl's Nest. In addition to it's great location, Rich & Becky were tremendous hosts. The facility is private and very comfortable with all new appliances and tastefully decorated. We look forward to staying here again when we return to Stowe.
